Temperature: [Minimum]:
The coldest night of the month was the 4th, with a minimum of 8.3 degs C, and the warmest nights of the month were the 20th and 22nd, with a minimum of 15.1 degs C.  Since at least 2004 there has always been a higher minimum night-time temperature in June except in 2006 and 2014.
The average night-time temperature for June 2016 was 12.73 degs C, which is the highest since June 2013 and the 7th highest of the last 13 Junes.

Temperature: [Maximum]:
The coolest day of June 2016 was the 17th with a maximum temperature of 15.3 degs C.  This was the coolest June day since 2012.  Exactly 6 months earlier, the maximum temperature for the 24 hours ending 2200 on December 17th, 2015, was 15.6 degs C!
The warmest day of June 2016 was the 8th, with 24.2 degs C.  This was the warmest day of any month since August 6, 2014.
That one day did not do a lot for the average maximum temperature however, as for June 2016 this was 18.9 degs C, the lowest ever at this location for June since at least 2003.  June 2015, with an average maximum of 19.04 degs C, now becomes 2nd coldest.
The temperature exceeded 20 degs C on 6 days in June 2016, the fewest number of times since at least 2003.  Previously in that period the fewest was 9 days in June 2011. In June 2015 it did so on 11 days.
The temperature has not exceeded 25 degs C in June since 2010.

Rainfall:
61.9 mm of rain fell in June 2016, making it the wettest June since 2013, and the 4th wettest since 2008.
This compares with 49.2 mm in June 2015 and 46.1 mm in May 2016.
The wettest day of June 2016 was the 20th with 15.2 mm of rain.
There were 12 completely dry days in June 2016, only 4 after the 9th, and 14 with no measurable rain.
The longest dry spell in June 2016 was a continuation of a 10 day period of no measurable rain which started on May 28.
The wettest period was the 19th to 24th, with 42.7 mm of rain.

Cumulatively 706.4 mm of rain has fallen between January and June 2016.  This compares with 502.5 mm during the same period in 2015 [+40.58%].   It is the 2nd wettest January to June period since at least 2009. 2014 is the wettest with 750.0 mm in that time.
