September 2009 Summary

Temperature [Max]: The maximum daytime temperature for September 2009 was just 22.2 degs [7th], and the minimum daytime temperature this month was 16.8 [29th].
Despite the plentiful sunshine, the temperature only exceeded 20 degs C on six days, which is the equal lowest [with 2008] since my records begain in 2004.
The fact that the temperature never exceeded 22.2 degs for the whole month led to the average daytime temperature for this September also being the lowest since 2004 at just 19.8 degs.

Temperature [Min]:
Nighttime temperatures ranged from a low of 9.5 [17th] to a maximum of 16.9 [8th] - this being the warmest September night since 2006. The average nighttime temperature [12.11 degs] was also the highest since September 2006.

Rain: 31.6 mm of rain fell this month, making it the driest month since this June. 21.2 mm of that total fell on one day [2nd].
Measurable rain fell on only 5 days of the month, and there was no measurable rain at all from the 9th onwards. Furthermore it was completely dry from the 9th to the 22nd when there was some drizzle.
